About The Role
As a Senior I&C Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high quality design solutions for complex, fast‑paced pharma projects. You will lead technical activities, support project delivery, and contribute to the development of future project opportunities within Jacobs’ growing portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
Lead I&C design activities on multidisciplinary pharma and biopharma projects.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior and intermediate engineers.
Ensure all design work aligns with project requirements, industry standards, and regulatory expectations.
Client & Project Interface
Attend client meetings and workshops to define, refine, and develop project scope.
Build strong working relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams.
Design Development
Prepare Basis of Design (BOD) documentation.
Develop Detailed Design packages and construction documentation for BMS and I&C contractors / system integrators.
Support commissioning, FAT/SAT activities, and technical queries during construction as required.
Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
Approximately 8 years of experience in Instrumentation & Controls engineering.
Strong background in pharmaceutical project delivery.
Proven experience with Building Management Systems (BMS), HVAC automation, and process instrumentation.
Familiarity with GxP environments, cleanroom systems, and regulated industry standards.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
