Job Title:
We are seeking an experienced Financial Assistant to join our team in a busy manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with internal controls, and timely delivery of financial information to support business operations.
This role involves performing bank reconciliations across multiple accounts, including multi-currency transactions. You will also prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, as well as the fixed asset register, capital expenditure records, and monthly depreciation journals.
You will be responsible for preparing weekly KPI reports for senior management review. Additionally, you will assist with the preparation of monthly and bi-annual VAT and VIES returns for Ireland and the UK.
Your duties may include supporting inventory control activities such as system standard cost updates and stock counts. You may also provide support to Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as required.
p>The ideal candidate should have at least 23 years experience in an accounting or finance administration role. They should possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel. An Accounting Technician qualification is desirable but not essential.
