Mixed Veterinary Surgeon - Maternity Cover (Mullingar, Co. Westmeath)
We're seeking a passionate and skilled Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to cover a maternity leave, starting ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a busy and supportive practice in the heart of the Irish midlands.
About the Role:
This full-time, temporary position offers a diverse caseload, split approximately 70% small animal and 30% large animal.
* Small Animal:Engage in general first opinion practice, including routine surgeries (spays, castrations, lump removals, etc.), diagnostics, and emergency care.
* Large Animal:Conduct farm calls, with a focus on calving and sections.No TB testing required.
Salary:Up to 60,000 commensurate with experience.
Schedule:Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. OOH is shared on a rota basis: 1 night per week and 1 in 4 weekends.

Applicant Requirements:
* Registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI) and eligible to work in Ireland.
* Competent in basic routine small animal surgeries (spays, castrations, lump removals, etc.).
* Competent in large animal calving and sections.
* All experience levels considered.
