As part of our Research and Development team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of technical projects in planning and design of medical devices for Orthopedic Surgeons.
Key Responsibilities
* You will assist in supporting the development of new medical device products by reviewing electrical schematics, generating netlists, and performing layout reviews.
* Support the creation and review of Bills of Materials (BOM) in accordance with industry standards.
* Contribute to designing prototypes and evaluating their performance through systematic testing and analysis.
* Perform hands-on bench testing to verify electrical designs and assess device performance, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Participate in stack-up analysis, including component de-rating analysis, worst case/Monte Carlo analysis, and simulations using LTspice software.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
* Familiarity with electrical engineering principles, including circuit design and analysis, is essential.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for documentation and analysis, as well as eCAD tools (e.g., Altium Designer, KiCad), is preferred.
