Social Care Worker - Kildare - €40k - €50k DOE:
FRS Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Social Care Worker to join a well-established mainstream service based in Kildare. The aim of this service is to provide an individualised programme of support and therapeutic intervention to the young person in order to assist them to reach their full potential based on their assessed needs.
In your new role you will:
* Support the young person in their day - to - day activities and all that entails.
* Build a positive rapport with both the young people and staff in the house to assist with the smooth running of the service.
* Assist young people to develop their skills and enhance self-esteem, resilience and individual responsibility.
* Accompany the young person to appointments, family access visits etc.
* Assist with the general upkeep of the residential service.
* All other tasks as outlined by your manager.
To be a successful candidate you will have:
* A minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care and started registration with CORU.
* Minimum 1 year's experience working with young people and children in care.
* The ability to work on your own as well as part of a team.
* A calm, empathetic approach.
