Overview
At Dornanwe are currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer (telecoms / OFCI Package) to work on our datacentre just outside of Dublin.
Dornan a Turner Company is a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, and the UK. We are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation.
Responsibilities
Prepare method statements and risk assessments with the construction team for production activities.
Prepare reports and front‑end studies including capital cost estimates, project schedules, material take‑offs and tender schedules.
Prepare technical and contract documentation for issue and analyse returned tenders.
Keep the delivery schedule up‑to‑date to control deliveries.
Clarify queries with the Design team through the RFI system.
Monitor progress against the program and issue progress reports.
Produce look‑ahead programmes to assist production.
Carry out Quality Control through inspections and snagging.
Perform document control, recording and transmitting information.
Liaise with multi‑disciplinary teams across the project.
Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Relative construction industry experience.
At least two years’ experience in a similar role with an electrical contractor.
Pharma or Industrial experience would be an advantage.
