The Job:We are currently working with a leading design and manufacturing company in Co. Meath with close to 100 employees who are now seeking to hire a permanent Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with prior experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment who thrives on accuracy, teamwork, and delivering to deadlines.Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:Full control of the Purchase LedgerManage the end-to-end invoice processing cyclePerform regular supplier statement reconciliationsPrepare and process weekly and monthly payment runsEnsure correct allocation of payments in multiple currenciesManage weekly ad hoc payments as neededCoordinate with internal departments to resolve invoice/payment discrepanciesLiaise with suppliers and maintain a high level of professionalismCompile and process accrualsProcess weekly payroll and submit payment files to the bankComplete and file all relevant payroll submissions to RevenueRequirements of the Accounts Payable Specialist:Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Accounts Payable & Payroll, ideally in a medium to large companyAccounting Technician/IPASS qualification is desirable (or equivalent practical experience)Familiarity with Exchequer, PayDay, Abbyy & Docuware software desirableStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (essential)Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracyAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlinesSelf-motivated with a continuous improvement mindsetStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilityTeam player with a collaborative approach and positive attitudeIf you would like more information on the role of Accounts Payable Specialist, you can contact Eoghan Dalton.eoghan.dalton@collinsmcnicholas.ie(090) 6478108
