We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to join our Children's Respite team as a Social Care Worker. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing opportunities for children with intellectual disabilities to develop their full potential in a compassionate and child-centered environment.

Our Children's Respite facility at The Arches offers a welcoming break for families and fun and development for children. As a Social Care Worker, you will be responsible for supporting children in the community for activities such as cinema trips, visiting petting farms, and zoo excursions.

This is a rewarding role that requires a degree in Social Care and registration with CORU before November 2025. You will also need to have experience of supporting people presenting with challenging behavior and a commitment to delivering person-centered programs.

Key Responsibilities:
* To provide therapeutic interventions, practical support, and nursing support where appropriate to meet the needs of individual children/young people.
* To work collaboratively with other staff members to deliver person-centered programs.
* To support children in the community for activities such as cinema trips, visiting petting farms, and zoo excursions.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and young people with intellectual disabilities. You should have a degree in Social Care and be registered with CORU before November 2025. Experience of supporting people presenting with challenging behavior is desirable.

You will also need to have a full driving license for a manual vehicle and be able to commit to delivering person-centered programs.
