Job Overview
This is a leadership role where you will be responsible for driving sales, service, and productivity in our store. You will need to liaise with the operations manager and achieve targets with the management team to reach maximum sales while controlling direct costs and labor costs.
Responsibilities
* Drive sales, service, and maintain excellent store standards
* Liaise regularly with your operations Manager
* Achieve targets with the management team and staff in order to reach maximum sales while ensuring direct costs and labour costs are controlled
* Ensure that the store's management team are trained appropriately and to the highest standard
* Be responsible for the staffing levels in your store
* Develop members of staff and the management team through the use of Appraisals, Training and Promotion
* Ensure that merchandising and presentation of store is of the highest standard at all times
* Ensure that you are up to date on all Health & Safety, HACCP and other legal requirements and implement these within the store
Requirements
* Proven ability in managing retail sales teams
* Planning and organising capabilities
* Excellent operational knowledge of retail environment
* Excellent interpersonal relations
* Excellent understanding of consumer needs and commitment to store standards
* Proven track record in achieving agreed KPI's and targets
* Self-motivated and an excellent team motivator
* The ability to work in a pressurised environment
* Computer skills
