OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively to emergencies, and a commitment to upholding security protocols.DutiesMonitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment.Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or incidents.Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to monitor activities.Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage.Provide first aid and CPR as needed in emergency situations.Manage conflicts effectively while maintaining a calm demeanor.Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary during incidents.Prepare detailed reports of daily activities and any incidents that occur.RequirementsPrevious experience in security, law enforcement, or military service is preferred.Knowledge of surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques is advantageous.Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable.Strong conflict management skills with the ability to de-escalate tense situations.Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties and respond quickly in emergencies.A valid security guard license may be required depending on local regulations.
