Home2Suites by Hilton, Dublin is opening its doors to a new extended-stay concept in Western Europe. As the Deputy General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in positioning the hotel within the competitive Dublin market.
This exciting opportunity involves leading the opening of Home2Suites by Hilton Dublin and collaborating with the management team to ensure smooth operations.
The position requires planning and directing the safe and efficient daily operation of the hotel, assisting with all aspects of pre-opening, launch, and ongoing operations.
You will oversee the development and implementation of departmental strategies, ensuring alignment with Marriott standards and brand initiatives.
Assist in hiring, training, systems implementation, brand standard alignment, and operational setup. Collaborate with the General Manager to develop a strategic plan for the hotel, focusing on operations.
Build and lead a high-performing team, prioritizing associate engagement and retention. Ensure all departmental areas are maintained and monitored in line with Marriott standards.
Actively promote the property within the local market and community, building strong partnerships and brand awareness.
Work with the management team to maintain good morale within the team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Previous experience as a Deputy General Manager or senior hotel leader in a branded hotel environment is essential.
Pre-opening or conversion experience is highly desirable. A strong understanding of Hilton systems and tools is required.
Proven track record of delivering results across guest satisfaction, team engagement, and financial performance.
