We are seeking a Trade Counter Sales Representative to join a well-established and busy hardware and building supplies company. This is a full-time, permanent role offering long-term career potential and development based in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.

Due to continued business growth, they are now looking for a motivated and personable Trade Counter Sales Representative who enjoys working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Responsibilities
As a key member of the trade counter team, you will:
1. Provide advice and product recommendations to trade and retail customers;
2. Build strong customer relationships through excellent service and a professional attitude;
3. Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently;
4. Handle customer queries in person, by phone, and by email in a helpful and timely manner;
5. Assist in merchandising, restocking, and maintaining well-presented displays;
6. Support stock control processes, including stock checks and inventory updates;
7. Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.

8. Competitive salary €30,000 - €36,000 DOE + commission;
9. Full-time, permanent role (Mon-Sat, flexibility required between 7:30 am - 5:30 pm);

Criteria
14. Previous sales experience is required; candidates with strong enthusiasm for sales and a genuine eagerness to learn will also be considered;
15. Experience in trade counter sales, retail, or customer service is desirable;
16. Background or hands-on experience in construction, hardware, painting, trades, or similar industries would be a strong advantage;
17. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
18. Reliable, motivated, and customer-focused;
