Salary range: €33,758.89 per annum
Experience: QQI Level 7 or higher qualification in Early Childhood Care and Education

The Role
We are currently looking to recruit a permanent full-time
Early Years Educator
to join our
Children & Family
team in
Ozanam House, Mountjoy Square, Dublin
.
The post holder will have responsibility for leading daily activities for pre-school and after-school children, supporting their wellbeing, learning, and development in line with Aistear and Siolta.
The role involves planning and delivering creative programmes, building strong relationships with parents and families, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring a safe, caring environment that promotes each child's holistic growth while working collaboratively as part of a dedicated team.

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills Required
Qualifications
QQI Level 7 or higher in Early Childhood Care
Experience
At least 2 years of professional experience of working directly with pre-school children in an early years setting
Good knowledge of underlying principles in early years education including Aistear and Siolta
Experience of working with this age group in a similar setting
Experience of working in the community or voluntary sector is an advantage
Experience of working with volunteers and students is an advantage
Knowledge and Skills
Candidates must have initiative, enthusiasm and an interest in supporting and empowering young children and their families
Excellent organisational, communication, interpersonal and listening skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Enjoy being part of a progressive and energetic team
Demonstrate empathy for young children and their families
