The primary purpose of this post is to contribute to the teaching, research and administrative activities in the midwifery team and in the School.
This appointment arises in response to the continued growth and development of the Midwifery profession within the School, and reflects a strategic commitment to expanding capacity, enhancing expertise, and building on Trinity College Dublin's leadership in Midwifery education, maternal health and maternity services research.
The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to teaching and research and engagement in scholarly activities.
This post provides an exciting opportunity to actively contribute to developments pertinent to research areas of strategic focus for the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin, and the Trinity Centre for Maternity care Research (TCMCR).
The successful candidate will be expected to have a depth of knowledge pertinent to the role and will be expected to attract research funding and attain scholarly publications.
The candidate will report to the Head of Midwifery and the Head of School.
Post status: Tenure Track - This position is Tenure Track position which is 5-years in the first instance, permanency is subject to satisfying the tenure requirements.
Hours of Post: Hours of work for academic staff are those as prescribed under Public Service Agreements.
