Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Estimator to prepare accurate costings and detailed estimates for labour, materials, plant, and subcontractor packages.
* Analyse tender documentation, drawings, and specifications to compile detailed estimates within deadlines.
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related discipline, with a minimum of 5 years experience in estimating within the construction industry. They will also have strong knowledge of Irish construction methods, materials, and regulations, as well as advanced numerical and analytical ability with exceptional attention to detail.
The successful candidate will be proficient in estimating software (Buildsoft, Cubit, Causeway) plus MS Excel and COINS.
Key responsibilities include analysing tender documentation, developing detailed estimates, and compiling tender submissions.
This role requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills to meet project deadlines.
