Location: Balbriggan, Co. Dublin

About the Role
We are seeking a kind, charismatic, and storytelling Santa Claus to bring Christmas magic to life at Balbriggan's Magical Christmas Market, hosted in beautiful gardens.
Santa will welcome children and families to his authentic Victorian living room, complete with a glowing fireplace, vintage décor, and festive charm. Your role is not just to "be Santa" but to embody the warmth, wonder, and storytelling magic that make Christmas unforgettable.
Responsibilities
* Greet and interact warmly with children and families in Santa's Living Room.
* Listen carefully to children's Christmas wishes and create a joyful, reassuring atmosphere.
* Tell short Christmas stories or anecdotes that enchant children and parents alike.
* Pose for photographs in a natural, engaging manner.
* Maintain Santa's traditional appearance, voice, and demeanor throughout each shift.
* Work closely with Santa's helper / event staff to manage appointment flow and keep visits smooth.
* Represent Balbriggan's Magical Christmas Market with kindness, humour, and professionalism.
Requirements
* A genuine love for working with children and families.
* Warm, charming personality with excellent storytelling skills.
* Confidence performing in character and improvising conversations.
* Punctual, reliable, and comfortable in a festive costume.
* Prior acting, teaching, or performance experience a strong plus.
* Must be available from Dec 4–23
