This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly experienced, highly skilled, internationally respected, full-service law firm in DublinThe Firm acts on behalf of financial institutions, private investment funds, receivers, asset managers and private clients on all aspects of property and insolvency related matters.Both our Property and Insolvency teams are looking to recruit Legal ExecutivesThis role provides an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and seeking to progress in a legal careerSupporting File Handlers by performing delegated tasks, to pursue the progression and/or resolution of cases. The role with involve working on cases supporting partners and solicitors in a fast-paced environment. Key ResponsibilitiesTo undertake initial steps on a file including sending out acknowledgements, and procedural documents and the obtaining of key documentation.Conducting such investigations as are appropriate and as may be delegated by File Handler/sCarry out standard procedural tasks as delegated and directed.Progress with training to allow development with the role to allow the completion of more complex tasks.Instructing experts where the need arisesTo ensure compliance Law Society of Ireland Standards & Regulation
37.5 hours per weekThe core working hours are Monday to Friday This is an office-based role in DublinSkills, Knowledge & ExpertiseExperience of working in an office environmentAn ability to organise and prioritise workload using initiativeAbility to pay attention to detailAbility to work with case management systemsThe personal skills to deal with insureds in a sensitive manner given the nature of cases handledGood telephone and communication skills with people at all levels inside and outside the businessCalm under pressure with ability to re-prioritiseSelf-confidence, with good literacy and IT skillsGood team worker with the flexibility to do what is required to get a result and ensure client service levels are metMinimum 1 years' experience in a legal environment, preferable in property and banking work
