A leading global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking an experiencedSenior Director of Qualityto oversee Quality operations at a highly automated commercial manufacturing site in County Dublin. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence across the full manufacturing lifecycle.The Senior Director of Quality will provide strategic and hands-on leadership across all Quality functions, ensuring the site maintains the highest standards of GMP compliance while navigating an exciting phase of operational transformation and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include:Drive the development, implementation and improvement of the site Quality Management System and Compliance Strategy.Ensure effective and timely communication of Quality issues to senior leadership and external partners.Oversee all manufacturing, packaging, testing and release activities in alignment with approved procedures and regulatory expectations.Lead and support Quality Operations teams to ensure full audit readiness, robust deviation management, and effective CAPA execution.Recruit, develop and lead Quality personnel, ensuring sufficient resourcing for all operational and certification activities.Represent the site in interactions with regulatory authorities and health agencies.Develop and manage Quality performance metrics to support continuous improvement.Review, assess and enhance procedures, regulatory documentation and Quality systems.Manage vendor oversight activities and ensure effective supplier qualification and performance management.Oversee Quality Unit budgeting, workforce planning and operational performance.Skills & ExperienceWe are seeking a senior Quality leader with a strong mix of the following:Extensive knowledge of GxP and global regulatory requirements (EU, HPRA, FDA).Proven success in a senior Quality leadership role within complex pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.Deep expertise in Quality Management Systems, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Compliance, Investigations and CAPA.Experience leading audits and regulatory inspections, and interacting directly with health authorities.Strong capability in coaching, developing and building Quality teams.Experience supporting site-wide transformation, including continuous improvement, Lean/CI/OPEX initiatives and automation-related projects.Solid understanding of supplier management and external partner oversight.Financial and operational leadership experience in managing budgets, resources and headcount planning.Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to influence across a cross-functional environment.Ability to thrive in a dynamic and evolving operational environment, demonstrating resilience, accountability and a proactive mindset.QP qualification/eligibility is preferred.Why Apply?This is a unique opportunity to join a modern, well-invested manufacturing facility with strong strategic importance, excellent leadership visibility and significant scope to make an impact.
