Role Overview
We are hiring for a Maintenance Technician to join our team on site in St. Margarets. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the executing, monitoring and recording of the maintenance breakdowns and breakdown follow ups
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out preventative and condition-based maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and perform electro-mechanical repairs on high-speed, PLC-controlled equipment.
* Provide technical support across plant services including compressed air, refrigeration, steam, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
* Monitor and optimise machine performance, responding quickly to any performance issues during production.
* Record maintenance activities accurately using the CMMS, including daily inputs, parts usage, and work completed.
* Support equipment installations and modifications, working closely with suppliers and contractors.
* Demonstrate strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills, with flexibility to work shifts and participate in the on-call rota.
* Hold relevant electrical/instrumentation qualifications, with proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance.
What You'll Need
* Possess electrical maintenance experience and/or qualifications.
* Excellent awareness and experience in relation to Quality, Health, and Safety
* Be familiar with planned preventative maintenance
* Experienced in fault finding and problem solving
* Comprehensive Knowledge of high-speed mechanical systems, electrical systems, automation, and PLC control systems
* Knowledge and experience in Maintenance strategy, Maintenance organisation and systems
Education & Qualifications
* Possess relevant trade qualification Required.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in similar role in regulated manufacturing environment (POST APPRENTICESHIP)
