The innovative, technology-led and SIL 2 approved oxygen analyzers and transmitters we manufacture help customers from segments as diverse as pharmaceutical, life-sciences, food and beverage, industrial and specialty gases, O&G, and additive manufacturing.The Quality Engineering Manager will provide technical and compliance expertise as part of teams tasked with establishing and assuring system and product quality objectives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Provide QA technical and compliance support for products and manufacturing related to suppliers, corrective and preventive actions, product/process improvements and training. The Quality Engineering Manager will assure compliance to the company Quality Standards and perform quality activities such as data analysis, QMS audits, procedure development, assist with product release, documentation review and implementation of changes to controlled documents.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be a senior member within the Manufacturing team, with Quality Assistant & Returns Technician reporting to this functionMaintaining & improving the current QMSInvestigate Customer queries, using root cause analysis to close issues off, leading quality problem investigations using proven quality toolsLead improvements in product and process qualityLead & drive external audits with customers & auditing bodiesLead project issues by working with team members, management, suppliers, and others as appropriate.Conduct inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standardsIdentify defects, determine their causes, and implement solutions to prevent recurrencePrepare detailed reports on quality performance and complianceEnsure that all processes comply with relevant quality standards and regulationsConducting and reporting on internal audits as per the annual schedule and closing out of any non-conformances that ariseWork closely with other departments, such as Production and Engineering, to implement quality measuresTo be considered for this role, you will need:A level 8 degree (or equivalent) in Engineering or related technical field requiredA minimum of 3 years in a senior Quality role, with experience in a manufacturing environmentProficiency in quality control systems, statistical analysis, and inspection proceduresStrong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skillsKnowledge of ISO standards and in particular ISO9001:9015, ISO17025, ISO14001 and ATEX certificationsLean Six Sigma qualification and Lead Auditor certification preferred.Experience in the preparation for & leading notified body audits.Proven abilities on achieving results within assigned deadlines with an ability to prioritise multiple tasks and operate in a fast-paced environment.Motivated and a hard-working self-starter with the ability to work under own initiative and with others.Apply now for immediate consideration.
