Reservations Agent and Receptionist Job Description
Marlfield House is a 26-bedroom country house with over 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry. The property has an excellent reputation for its food, service, and luxury.
The house is a member of Ireland's Blue Book and the internationally renowned Relais et Chateaux guide. It features two restaurants, a fine dining restaurant catering for up to 90 guests, and The Duck Restaurant in the courtyard. The property sits on 36 acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, with a wonderful kitchen garden that supplies much of the produce during the summer months.
Marlfield House is situated just outside Gorey, Co Wexford, near the beach, and one hour south of Dublin on the N11.

Job Responsibilities:
* Selling rooms and taking restaurant reservations
* Confirming reservations and loading them onto the in-house system (iHotelligence) and hotel website
* Managing commission payments and reconciling cash and lodgements
* Loading rates and packages onto online booking systems
* Managing online sales and welcoming guests

Requirements:
* An outgoing and friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills
* At least two years' experience in sales
* Proficiency in selling rooms and using a hotel reservation system
* Ability to reconcile cash and lodgements and load rates on booking engines
* Computer literacy and fast typing speeds
* Experience working with hotel booking systems and online reservations systems
* Excellent communication skills and a team player
* A full driving license for operating company golf buggies
