Main Responsibilities
* Directly oversee the execution of rail infrastructure projects from initiation to completion.
* Design and enforce project management strategies that align with industry norms and regulatory requirements.
* Effectively manage project teams consisting of engineers, planners, and external consultants, emphasizing collaboration and excellence.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, transport authorities, and local communities.
* Monitor and control project expenses, timelines, risks, and quality assurance processes.
* Participate in business growth initiatives, such as bid preparation and client outreach.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior team members.
Essential Requirements
1. Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
2. Professional accreditation, ideally chartered status.
3. No less than 10 years of experience in project management, specifically in rail or transportation infrastructure projects.
4. Familiarity with Irish rail infrastructure laws, standards, and procurement processes.
5. Proven capacity to lead diverse teams and operate within a consulting environment.
6. Sound knowledge of commercial principles and contract administration.
7. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and stakeholder relationship-building abilities.
