Role Summary:
Agricultural Sales Consultant sought to drive revenue growth and client retention in the dairy industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert advice and guidance to dairy farmers and customers on product concepts, driving sales and customer satisfaction.
2. Maintain established relationships with clients, ensuring ongoing business delivery and growth opportunities are realised.
3. Meet and exceed all revenue and client retention targets, leveraging strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Convert prospects into loyal clients with long-term growth potential through effective sales strategies.
5. Liaise closely with the Sales Manager and office staff to coordinate sales efforts and manage product/stock levels.
6. Manage all customer requests in a timely and accurate manner, delivering exceptional customer service.
7. Stay up-to-date with relevant local market product developments and trends, identifying opportunities for growth and expansion.
Candidate Profile:
Third-level education in Agriculture or a related field is preferred. Previous experience in field sales or internships, as well as dairy farm experience, are highly valued. A valid driver's license and residence/working location within the target region are also essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be assertive and representative, IT literate, self-motivated, results-driven, proactive, practical, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
