Job Title: Store Operations Manager
The ideal candidate will lead, motivate, and support the retail team to achieve sales targets and deliver excellent customer service. They will provide friendly, knowledgeable advice to customers on plants, gardening products, and related items.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead, motivate, and support the retail team in achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
* Provide expert advice to customers on a wide range of plants, gardening products, and related items.
* Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation at all times.
* Oversee store operations including cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and delivery management.
* Assist with stock control, inventory accuracy, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a retail supervisory role or similar position.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to lead and motivate teams effectively.
* Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
* Confident with cash handling systems and basic administration procedures.
* A passion for horticulture or a related field is highly desirable but not essential.
