Key Responsibilities of Industrial Cleaner:Operate and oversee the automated industrial crate washing machinery, including pre-wash, wash, rinse, and drying cyclesMonitor detergent and sanitiser levels in the washing equipment and ensure correct dosage and temperature settings are maintainedInspect all washed areas and equipment to ensure they are free from debris, residue, and potential contaminants.Report any equipment malfunctions or performance issues to the supervisor immediatelyAssist with general site hygiene duties as directed, which may include cleaning production machinery, floors, walls, and storage areasEnsure all hygiene tasks are carried out in accordance with the company's cleaning schedulesConduct power washing and deep cleaning of production areas, equipment, and facilitiesCorrectly handle, dilute, and use various cleaning chemicals and detergents following safety guidelinesDispose of waste and recycling materials in line with site proceduresEnsure stock levels of cleaning materials are properly maintained, and report inventory needs to the Line ManagerComplete all required records, logs, and documentation, including machine temperature logs and cleaning sign-off sheets, to ensure traceability and complianceMaintain flexibility to undertake ad hoc cleaning and hygiene duties in various departments across the site to support overall factory cleanlinessAdhere strictly to all company Health & Safety (H&S) policies, including the use of required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Comply with all relevant food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, BRC) and internal quality management systemsDeliver a first-class service by ensuring all cleaning duties are carried out to the highest standard in line with food industry regulations and company proceduresPrevious experience in food production or industrial cleaning environments is beneficial but not essentialUnderstanding of hygiene standards and willingness to follow strict food safety protocolsAbility to operate industrial cleaning machinery (full training provided)Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate recordsSafe Pass Certificate is beneficial - training can be providedExcellent interpersonal and communication skills with good written and spoken EnglishValid authorisation to work in Ireland (EU/EEA citizenship required)Benefits:Full training provided on all equipment and proceduresImmediate startStable work environment in the food production industryDue to immediate operational requirements, this role is only open to applicants who hold EU/EEA citizenship and have the unrestricted right to work in Ireland.
