We are a long established Community Pharmacy in Kilcock, Co Kildare, looking for an empathetic and hard working OTC Sales Assistant, with previous Community Pharmacy experience to join our OTC team.
The ideal candidate must:
* Have a minimum of 1 year of recent OTC experience, in an Irish Community Pharmacy
* Possess excellent communication and customer service skills with an approachable nature
* Engage actively with customers to provide a high standard in customer service that drives sales
* Be punctual and well presented
* Have the ability to work in a busy environment, to be organised and able to multi-task
* Be able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team - possessing a willingness to learn
* Be able to work in a confidential environment with a high attention to detail.
Working conditions
* Full time - 39 hour week
* 8 hour day shifts
* Work 1 out of 2 Saturdays
* No late nights, Sundays or Bank Holidays

Main Duties include:
* Advising and assisting customers with purchasing of all products within our store
* Demonstrating good product knowledge to promote the safe use of medicines and pharmacy products, referring to the pharmacist when needed
* Taking prescription orders and liaising with the dispensary team
* Stock purchasing, rotation and management
* Stock merchandising and promotion
* Maintaining a clean, neat and organised shop and shop floor to ensure safe and efficient workflow
* Till duties and cash management
