Senior Grade Psychologist Role
This opportunity enables a skilled psychologist to join a leading organisation committed to supporting children and young people with disabilities.
* Plan and manage complex caseloads, providing expert assessments and interventions.
* Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff grade psychologists, assistant psychologists, and students.
* Take a lead role in service planning, innovation, and development within the psychology discipline.
* Delegate tasks appropriately and support junior staff members' development.
* Foster a culture of evidence-based practice, contributing to research and quality improvement initiatives.
* Represent the psychology discipline at internal and external meetings and conferences.
* A recognised university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject.
* An Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology.
* At least five years' satisfactory post-graduate experience in professional psychology.
* Membership of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) or the British Psychological Society (BPS).
