Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Compliance Analyst to join our Compliance team. This role will focus on ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements within Ireland and the EEA, including AML/CTF, Consumer Protection, Payment Services Regulations, Outsourcing, and Safeguarding. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a desire to expand their knowledge in compliance. This position reports directly to the Director of Compliance.
Key Responsibilities
* Gather data from internal stakeholders to support compliance reviews, audits, and reporting.
* Draft and maintain compliance documentation such as policies, procedures, risk assessments, and registers.
* Monitor compliance controls across the business and track remediation of identified issues or actions.
* Provide advice and guidance on regulatory programs.
* Support regulatory initiatives and Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) projects.
* Coordinate quarterly compliance meetings and ensure timely delivery of materials.
* Execute compliance monitoring reviews, identify risks or gaps in processes, and create reports to track resolution.
* Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for compliance requirements across various workstreams.
* Ensure smooth execution of activities aligned with the annual Compliance Plan.
* Prepare materials for Board and Committee meetings related to compliance matters.
* Review and update all compliance policies and procedures according to established cycles.
Skills & Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of regulations applicable to Irish electronic money institutions.
* Experience in process mapping and documenting operational processes for compliance activities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly at all levels of the organisation.
* Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and engage stakeholders effectively.
* Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, Slides, or similar tools.
* Ability to prioritise tasks and deliver high-quality risk reporting within deadlines.
* Professional development through workshops, publications review, networking, or participation in professional societies is highly valued.
