Title: Infrastructure Project ManagerType:12 month day rate contractLocation:South DublinA leading organisation within a regulated enterprise environment is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the delivery of multiple IT infrastructure initiatives. This role is responsible for end-to-end project execution, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and ensuring infrastructure transformation aligns with business objectives.The successful candidate will balance strong technical knowledge with proven project management expertise, playing a key role in enhancing the organisation's development and operational capabilities within a fast-evolving digital landscape.THIS IS A 12 MONTH DAY RATE CONTRACTBASED IN SOUTH DUBLINONSITE 2-3 DAYS PER WEEKKey Responsibilities:Project Leadership: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including data centre upgrades, network improvements, SaaS migrations, and security initiatives.Scope & Planning: Define project scope, develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.Budget Management: Prepare cost estimates, manage budgets, and track expenditure to ensure financial targets are met.Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and senior leadership, providing regular progress updates.Risk & Quality Management: Identify risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure compliance with quality, governance, and regulatory standards.Vendor Management: Manage third-party vendors, contracts, and SLAs to ensure effective service delivery.Technical Oversight: Ensure projects align with infrastructure roadmaps, security standards, and operational best practices.Governance & Compliance: Maintain audit-ready documentation and evidence of compliance.Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops, testing, and quality assurance practices.Collaboration: Work closely with IT and business teams to ensure infrastructure supports software deployments and operational needs.Qualifications & Experience:Proven experience delivering infrastructure projects in complex enterprise environments.Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).In-depth understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud platforms, networking, data centres, servers, and security.Experience managing distributed and offshore teams.Demonstrated success operating within high-governance, fast-paced organisations.Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
