Our events team is growing andBusiness Post Experiencesis currently seeking a versatileSenior Events Managerto join our dynamic media business. As part of our expanding events and publishing portfolio, you will have the opportunity to work closely with internal teams and contribute to the overall success of the Business Post Group family of brands which includesBusiness Post, RED C Research & Marketing and Irish Management Institute. This full-time role requires a proactive and enthusiastic individual who is responsible for thedevelopment, production and delivery of high-end events and has a passion for exceptional customer experiences.With an annual portfolio of over 40 events, we deliverpremium, trusted conferences, awards and exhibitionswith thought-leading content and innovative commercial solutions. As part of theBusiness PostMedia Group, we are able to support all of our events with a dynamic media content strategy.The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of events ensuring timelines, budgets and priorities are communicated, maintained and met. Building and maintainingstrong relationships with clients, delegates, speakers, suppliers and other stakeholderswill be crucial. Additionally, you will handle administrative functions, generate reports for enhanced efficiency and collaborate with external stakeholders such as suppliers, venues, AV, and publishing partners.Furthermore, you willcollaborate with the teamacross production and editorial on the development of agendas and speaker acquisitions, the commercial team with partner and sponsor presence, the marketing, creative, digital and customer experience teams to ensure campaigns are delivered on time and to an exceptionally high standard for all our stakeholders. Onsite days can be busy, with some early starts or late finishes, so you should enjoy thebuzz of live event delivery. Between events there are quieter periods focused on follow ups, forward planning and project work.The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following:Genuine passion for events, exhibiting a proactive attitude, enthusiasm, and a "can-do" mentality.Comfortable working in a small, high trust team, with a calm and professional approach during busy periods.Strong work ethic and ability to multitask with excellent organisational, attention to detail and time management skills are essential.A commercially focused mindset, along with outstanding operational planning and work management skills, will contribute to your success in this role.A highly collaborative skillset is crucial at all levels of the business, both internally and externally. You should also possess a collaborative personality, understand informal structures and balance individual and group interests.Tracking project performance and the results of our campaigns will be essential, along with occasional travel for onsite inspections and project management.Qualifications:Minimum of 5 years of experience in event management or freelance events roleThird-level qualification in Events Marketing, Project Management, Business, Hospitality or a related disciplineProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsEfficiency in using email marketing platforms, Canva and WordPressStrong team-working skillsFluent in English with excellent written communication.
