Catering Manager Job Description
Our ideal Catering Manager will oversee daily catering operations, ensuring top-tier food and service delivery. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape the food experience for students and staff in a full-time position based in Dublin City Centre.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead daily catering operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and service delivery
* Maintain strong client relationships and act as the main point of contact
* Drive food innovation and service enhancements
* Monitor financial performance and produce monthly reports
* Maximize revenue through strategic purchasing and marketing
* Manage and develop a high-performing team
* Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and safety standards
* Handle HR responsibilities including training, appraisals, and performance management
* Work closely with the Operations Director to identify growth opportunities and support sales initiatives
Requirements include proven experience in catering or hospitality management, ideally within the education sector. Strong leadership and team development skills are also required. Excellent communication and client relationship management skills, financial acumen, creativity, passion for food innovation, knowledge of health & safety regulations, and a proactive mindset are all necessary for this role.
