Mechanical Estimator Position
Our client is a leading provider of Hard Services Maintenance & Facility Supports.
Due to an increase in works, they are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Estimator Manager to join their team based in Dublin 12.
This person will be a member of the senior management team, and there will be an expectation that they will get involved in how the business works and runs,

The successful candidate's role will involve:
* Managing the entire tendering process from initiation to conclusion.
* Compiling precise and well-organised estimates and proposals promptly.
* Ensure the tenders are submitted and processed on time, follow up on tenders and documents, and record any feedback.
* Issue tender queries and prepare tender reports.
* Negotiate prices with suppliers and sub-contractors.
* Oversee the maintenance of the cost database.
* Build relationships with key vendors (subcontractors, suppliers, engineers etc).
* Keep informed with developments in the industry.
* Participate in the development of procedures to ensure a high standard of quality control in the documents produced by the Estimating Department.
* Manage & mentor members of the Estimating Team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* 4+ years' experience working as an estimator with a mechanical contractor
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and in at least one of the more widely used Estimating Platforms.
* Attention to detail and high-quality standards are required.
* Ability to identify potential risks on a project
* Be a motivated and highly dependable individual.
* Excellent numeracy, verbal and written communication skills
* Full drivers' licence is advantageous.
