Join our journey as together we accelerate a sustainably connected Europe.What You'll DoReporting to the Managing Director, the Senior Legal Counsel will lead and manage the Vantage legal team across all business functions and programmes, advising on all general legal issues, providing strategic input and guidance in all business-related matters including but not limited to, risk, corporate, competition, employment, commercial, compliance and conveyancing:Managing the day-to-day activities of the legal team, providing strategic input as part of the Senior Management Team and supporting Group Legal Function where necessary Drafting, reviewing, negotiating and advising the business on all key commercial contracts and other documents, including property documents, NDAs, master service agreements and procurement agreementsPromoting best practice and process reviews including updating existing template documents such as landlord agreements, customer agreements, framework agreements and other commercial contractsSupporting and management of legal risks across the companyReviewing, refining and designing all necessary and appropriate policies and proceduresLeading Vantage's Company Secretarial function, including preparation of key approval documentsLeading legal compliance initiatives, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practicesDeal with disputes and advising the business in respect of contentious matters or litigationLiaising with external law firms for specialist property or litigation legal adviceProviding legal advice on privacy, technology, compliance, GDPR, and employment issues to the senior management, business teams or Vantage Group's Central Legal Team as requiredWho you areQualified solicitor with at least 5 years PQE with experience in the areas of conveyancing/commercial property and property related litigation ideally with a blend of private practice and in-house experience.Previous telecommunication industry experience is desirable but not essentialStrong drafting skills and competency in relation to all types of commercial contracts, including property related legal documentsExcellent communication skillsExcellent judgment, discretion, and problem-solving skillsStrong commercial awarenessStrong IT and Microsoft Office skillsPlanning and organisational skillsWhat's in it for youWhen you join the Vantage Towers Ireland Team, you will have the chance to grow your career while also experiencing some serious benefitsSome of the benefits that you will receive along the way are:Competitive SalaryGenerous Employer Pension contributionFlexible working is part of our culture where your hours can facilitate your personal work-life balanceFree Phone Bill – When you join the team, your phone bill is on us You will also receive mobile phone purchasing discountsLearning and Development – We provide extensive training to all of our employees so they can progress in their careersFree ParkingWe are passionate about our employees Here at Vantage, we want you to bring your whole self to work and we enable this with our progressive workplace policies.
