Reporting to the Board, the Regional Director will be accountable for operational delivery, commercial performance, and the continued expansion of services and market presence across the region.
Key Responsibilities
Regional Leadership & Strategy
Lead the overall performance of the Dublin region, ensuring delivery excellence, profitability, and sustainable growth.
Develop and implement regional business plans aligned with wider organisational strategy.
Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance standards across the regional team.
Client & Market Development
Build, maintain, and strengthen senior client relationships across public and private sectors.
Act as a key figure in business development, identifying new opportunities and leading strategic pursuits.
Represent the business at senior stakeholder level, industry forums, and client engagements.
Operational & Commercial Oversight
Maintain oversight of project delivery across the region, ensuring quality, programme, cost control, and risk management standards are met.
Review regional financial performance including revenue, margins, resourcing, and pipeline forecasting.
Ensure strong governance, compliance, and consistency of service delivery.
Lead, mentor, and develop senior management and technical teams within the region.
Support recruitment, succession planning, and talent development.
Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture aligned with company values.
Business Growth & Innovation
Drive service expansion, diversification, and innovation in response to market demand.
Support continuous improvement initiatives, systems development, and best practice adoption.
Contribute to national leadership discussions and long-term strategic planning.
Candidate Profile
Experience & Background
Significant senior leadership experience within a construction consultancy or professional services environment.
Proven track record of managing and growing a regional business unit or division.
Strong experience in client-facing roles with responsibility for commercial outcomes and strategic growth.
Background in project management, cost management, or related construction advisory services.
Skills & Attributes
Commercially astute with strong financial and operational awareness.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinker with the ability to balance long-term planning and day-to-day delivery.
