PM Group is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for our OTS (Outsourced Technical Services) department. This role is based with one of our pharmaceutical manufacturing clients in Waterford, with a hybrid working option.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure safe execution of all project phases including funding, procurement, installation, and commissioning.
2. Oversee technical and commercial delivery and execution of tasks.
3. Review and understand the project's commercial aspects.
4. Monitor strategy effectiveness and adjust as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
5. Identify resource needs, coordinate with resource owners.
6. Coordinate design efforts across all disciplines, including subcontractors and site teams.
7. Prepare and present Project Monthly Internal Reports and communicate significant issues early.
8. Lead teams and manage various vendor engineering contractors on site.
9. Proficient in MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
10. Possess strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to interface with all management levels.
11. Develop trust-based relationships professionally and personally at all career levels.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1. Experience working on large pharmaceutical projects.
2. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to translate strategy into measurable benefits and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
3. Minimum of 8-10 years relevant experience.
4. Degree qualification preferred; professional project management certification is a plus.
