Accounting Professional
We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant to take on a challenging role that involves coordinating payment and billing details, verifying payments, and creating financial documents such as bills, invoices, and pay-orders. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining cost codes, reconciling accounts, and providing support to the client-facing team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage payment and billing details of external service providers, contractors, and vendors.
- Verify payments and deposits made through the company account and coordinate with the bank.
- Create financial documents such as bills, invoices, pay-orders, payables, receivables, and purchase orders.
- Maintain cost code system and match invoices to same.
- Identify discrepancies in ledgers and accounts, track them to source, and correct them.
- Review expenses, process claims for approval, and manage payroll activities.
- Reconcile accounts accurately, allocate and post payments accurately, and investigate and close out account queries.
Requirements:
- 2+ years' experience as a qualified accountant or in a related financial role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- IT literacy with a track record of using full MS Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience with accounting principles and practices.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks and practice management software is an advantage.
- Analytical thinking, initiative, dynamism, and flexibility are highly valued.
