Quality Officer Role
This is a permanent, full-time position with 24 months contract. The Quality Officer will be responsible for maintaining and developing the Quality Management System (QMS) to meet current and future needs, in line with INAB & ISO 17025 standards.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Maintain accurate records of equipment calibration and QMS documentation.
2. Manage the archive system according to QMS requirements.
3. Oversee daily quality checks, including temperature, pipette, balance, media, and spiked samples checks.
4. Ensure Measurement Uncertainty records are up-to-date and accurate.
5. Participate in Proficiency Testing (PT) programs.
6. Act as an Audit Officer for internal audits.
7. Support staff training and maintain induction records.
8. Conduct regular spot checks to ensure quality compliance.
9. Manage the Environmental Monitoring Programme.
10. Review and approve new suppliers' documentation.
11. Oversee media preparation and record-keeping.
Key Details:
* Salary: €34,000 annually

* Working hours: 40 hours per week
A suitable candidate should possess strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain accurate records.
