Applications are invited for the following post: Assistant Lecturer in Economics (Permanent Wholetime) Reference: 506a/2025 The School of Accounting, Economics and Finance is seeking to appoint an Assistant Lecturer in Economics on a permanent wholetime basis. The appointee should be capable of making an immediate contribution to the undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the School and Faculty. The ideal candidate will have experience in an academic context, including both teaching and research. They will be expected to play a key role in the further development of the Schools programme offerings and research as well as supporting programme management and development and to contribute to the growth of the School of Accounting, Economics and Finance in a focussed and constructive manner. Hours of Work:This is a wholetime post. In addition to teaching hours (up to 18 hours per week), attendance is required from Monday to Friday during the general working hours of the School and Faculty Location: The post will be based at one of the TU Dublin Campuses i.e. Aungier Street, Bolton Street, Grangegorman, Blanchardstown or Tallaght. Regular attendance at other sites will be required Salary: The successful candidate will be appointed at point (01) of the Assistant Lecturer Salary Scale. The salary for this post is: € 51,153 - € 63,104 € 46,601- € 63,104 (New Entrants) Appointments will be made at the appropriate point on the appropriate scale.
