Semi Senior Accountant (Cork)
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Assisting with the completion of accounts to trial balance stage.
2. Assisting with the preparation of year end accounts.
3. Bookkeeping and general ledger management.
4. Processing purchase and sales invoices.
5. Bank and control accounts reconciliation.
6. Processing of VAT returns and ensuring compliance to filling deadlines.
7. Assisting with monthly reporting.
8. Assisting with the preparation of non-exempt audit files
9. Payroll processing on a weekly and fortnightly basis.
Criteria:
10. Ideally a part qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA or similar)
11. 1 to 2 years' experience required working in an accounting environment.
12. Proficiency in accounting systems software
13. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
14. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
15. Self-motivated with good communication skills
