What you will do
* Requirements Gathering: Assist in collecting, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from stakeholders through techniques such as interviews, workshops, and surveys.
* Documentation: Create and maintain clear, concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows.
* Data Analysis: Support the analysis of data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions and solution design.
* Process Mapping: Map current business processes (as-is) and design future state processes (to-be) to identify areas for improvement.
* Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders.
* Testing Support: Participate in testing activities, including developing test cases, executing tests, and documenting defects.
* Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot business problems, proposing effective solutions.
* Reporting: Contribute to the creation of reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
What we’ll need from you
* Relevant experience
* Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
* Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
* Interpersonal skills: Ability to work collaboratively and interact effectively with various stakeholders.
* Familiarity with standard office productivity tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio for diagrams).
* Basic understanding of banking operational functions (e.g., trade settlement, ledger posting, collateral, billing, payments, reconciliations).
* Aware of Agile or Waterfall methodologies.
* Data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, pivot tables, macros, reporting tools) are a plus.
