Leadership Opportunities in Speech and Language Therapy

We are seeking a Senior Speech & Language Therapist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families while working in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment.

This role will provide expert assessment and intervention to children and young people (0-18 years) and their families while leading clinical and service development within the team.

You will supervise and mentor junior staff and students, contribute to research and quality improvement, and work across multiple settings including clinics, homes, schools, and community environments.

* Manage a complex caseload, delivering high-quality assessment, diagnosis, and intervention.
* Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to staff grade Speech and Language Therapists and students.
* Lead on service planning, innovation, and quality improvement within the discipline.
* Collaborate within the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement coordinated, family-centred care plans.
* Maintain professional and ethical standards, including CORU registration and Children First compliance.
* Represent the profession and internally externally.
* Support and contribute to research, audits, and service evaluation initiatives.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

* Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Physiotherapists Registration Board at CORU.
* Have three years full time (or an aggregate of three years full time) post qualification clinical experience.
* Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
* Annual Registration: On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
