Senior Analytical Lead, EMEA International Growth Team
Location: Dublin, Ireland
We are searching for a seasoned data analytics professional to lead the analytical function for Google’s EMEA International Growth Team.
Responsibilities
Drive a separate insights agenda to surface unprompted commercial opportunities, proactively identifying incremental business opportunities each quarter. Orchestrate the team’s workload by protecting bandwidth and reallocating resources to ensure a relentless focus on priorities.
Lead and innovate on projects (e.g., trading automation and pipeline reporting). Translate high-level business goals into actionable investigative frameworks.
Utilize advanced technical skills to distill insights from datasets into succinct executive narratives. Facilitate high-level leadership decision-making by modeling business scenarios and providing clarity on performance metrics and incremental business impact.
Act as the primary investigative partner for teams and Sales Leaders.
Serve as the lead coach, mentoring junior team members on both technical execution (e.g., SQL, data modeling) and brainstorming.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 4 years experience in data analytics, consulting, or a similar role.
Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading teams of analysts while managing data integrity, access policies, and project frameworks in dynamic environments using SQL, Python, and Google Sheets.
Understanding of data modeling, data pipelines, and visualization tools.
Familiarity with digital advertising and an active interest in leveraging AI training or Apps Script to drive automation and efficiency.
Ability to define a team's profile and lead technical hiring while applying a “commercial lens” to technical data to identify opportunities and translate business requirements into expectations.
Excellent communication skills with a track record of influencing cross-functional leaders and navigating organizational structures.
