Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

Applicants should supply suitable character references and be prepared to complete a Garda vetting application form.
Job Description
Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Working as part of a team in a fast paced environment, this position involves helping the main kitchen worker in preparing meals and ensuring the kitchen remains up to suitable hygiene standards fit for food preparation.
* To work alongside the main kitchen worker in ensuring that kitchen and any necessary cleaning duties are completed
* To assist the preparation of snacks and meals daily
* To store away food deliveries, ensure food is correctly labelled and correct rotation of date codes and maintaining 'first in first out' principle
* To ensure appropriate paperwork is kept up to date and complete in the kitchen
* To assist the completion of the weekly shopping list to ensure there is adequate food supplies for the following week
* To comply with policies & procedures of the center
* To comply with food hygiene and health & safety standards
* Participate in HACCP food handling training whilst on CE
