We are seeking a Part Time Bookkeeper to join our team.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, including client ledger postings, receipts and payments, cash flow projections, bank reconciliations, and management of client funds. This role also involves preparing and submitting bi-monthly VAT/PRSI returns to Revenue, as well as dealing with office suppliers and collaborating with external accountants.
Responsibilities:
* Client Ledger Postings: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of client transactions.
* Cash Flow Projections: Analyze and forecast the company's cash flow to ensure timely payment of bills and invoices.
* Weekly Bank Reconciliations: Verify the accuracy of the company's bank statements and reconcile any discrepancies.
* Management of Client Funds: Safeguard and manage client funds in accordance with industry regulations.
* VAT/PRSI Returns: Prepare and submit bi-monthly VAT/PRSI returns to Revenue.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent bookkeeping skills and knowledge of accounting principles.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to manage complex financial situations.
* Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
* Proficiency in Sage payroll software and experience with managing multiple clients.

About the Role
