**Job Opportunity: Finance Support Role**
C REGG is seeking a highly skilled professional to join their finance team in Ennis, Co. Clare. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in accounting and bookkeeping, with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
The successful applicant will be responsible for processing invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments accurately and on time. Additionally, they will prepare and submit VAT returns, perform bank reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Processing invoices, purchase orders, and supplier payments accurately and on time
2. Preparing and submitting VAT returns
3. Performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
4. Supporting credit control and general bookkeeping duties
5. Assisting with day-to-day finance operations and administrative tasks as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar bookkeeping or finance support role
* Strong understanding of accounts, reconciliations, and credit control
* Proficient with Sage, Zoho, or similar accounting platforms
* Good IT skills with proficiency across the MS Office suite, especially MS Excel
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to work independently and on own initiative
* A team player who is eager to learn, develop and take direction
