Scope of the Role
The secondee will be embedded within our Group Legal team, providing legal support across contracts, intellectual property, and transactional matters. The role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders across multiple divisions and geographies.
Contracts
Final review and sign-off on non-disclosure agreements, with day-to-day review and drafting managed by the paralegal team
Review of Group procurement contracts across all central functions, including IT, Finance, Tax, People & Leadership, and R&D
Review of procurement contracts originating from Kingspan's various divisions worldwide
Drafting and maintaining template documents for use across all divisions, ensuring consistency and legal protection
Assistance with sales contracts where requested by the business
Final legal review of significant contracts in value from all divisions
Intellectual Property
Managing the relationship with the specialist external law firm responsible for the IP portfolio and acting as the primary liaison between the business and external advisers for matter management purposes.
Overseeing the Group's global intellectual property portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives
Coordinating the execution of IP-related documentation with support from the paralegal team
Transactions
Providing ad-hoc transactional and commercial legal support across the Group
Candidate Requirements
We are seeking a candidate with the following profile:
Qualified solicitor with relevant post-qualification experience, ideally 3-5 years
Strong background in commercial contracts, with knowledge of intellectual property and transactional work being advantageous
Experience working with multinational organisations, whether in-house or in private practice
Excellent commercial acumen and drafting skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities across different jurisdictions
The ideal candidate will be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy whilst integrating effectively into our existing collegial team.
