As we continue to grow, we are delighted to be opening a new store in the outskirts of Kilkenny this December. We are now seeking an experienced Sales person to join our team.
The Role:
This is a full time, permanent position.
As a Furniture Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, driving sales, and helping customers find the perfect furniture solutions for their homes. You'll work as part of a small, friendly team in a fast-paced retail environment with great potential for personal growth and earnings.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with customers in-store, providing expert product knowledge and guidance
* Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets
* Maintain an in-depth knowledge of our product range, promotions, and store layout
* Handle sales transactions and process orders accurately
* Assist with merchandising, store displays, and maintaining store presentation
* Support team members and contribute to a positive, customer-focused work environment
Skills & Experience Required:
* Proven track record in furniture or high-value retail sales (essential)
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Highly motivated and target-driven with a passion for sales
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
* Professional, approachable, and customer-focused attitude
* Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required
