Clerical Officer Grade IV St. Johns Men's Health TemporaryPrincipal Duties and ResponsibilitiesEnsure Waiting Lists, Referrals and Booking Systems to Men's Health/ St John's Unit are managed in an effective and efficient manner.Achieve and maintain standards as directed by the Healthcare Records Manager and BMU Supervisor.Proactively & timely manage the communication process between staff and stakeholdersGenerate and update standard operating procedures for the areaEnsure compliance with NTPF GuidelinesSupervision and training of Urology and COIII Clerical staff including orientations, probationary reviews, staff leave and deal with any performance/conduct issues accordingly.Men's Health UnitManage and organise PSA clinics and booking processesEnsure strict adherence to Rapid Access timeframes.Liaising with Radiology to produce monthly rota of prostate biopsies in accordance with Rapid Access timeframes.X-rays & scans performed externally to be downloadedLiaise with BMU Clerical Staff for in-patient and day case surgical procedures.Dealing with telephone enquiries from patients, GP's, internal and external hospital Consultants, PHN's, Pharmacies, Pharmaceutical Co. Reps.Checking, verifying and updating patient demographics.Managing and organising Medical Reviews and other appointments in MHU.Booking and administration of medical reviews (private patients)Creating new patient charts.Maintenance of patient charts in accordance with iPMS and HSE requirementsMaintenance for all Urology waiting ListManagement and processing of TPRO dictation /outcome for Men'sEligibility CriteriaA minimum of three years administrative experience essentialPrevious TPRO experience essentialHold a relevant Administration qualification and have achieved a high level of proficiency in samePossess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills, and have the ability to work on his/her own initiativeBe very patient focused with an approved record of managing sensitive and confidential informationBe a highly motivated self-starterHave a comprehensive knowledge of administrative processes and IT skills (to encompass database and excel) to assist in the delivery of a coordinated approach to patient care.Accuracy and attention to details in respect of data entry.Effectively manage time and resourcesBe extremely flexibleiPMS experience is essentialFull Job Spec is available on requestClosing Date: 1pm on Monday 8th December 2025MUH reserves the right to create a panel for this post from which permanent, fixed term and specified purpose vacancies of a full or part time duration may be filled.
