Risk Analytics Leader
Assisting in overseeing the implementation of the Enterprise Risk Management Framework involves collaborating with business Risk Managers to embed robust risk and control governance structures. Your primary focus is on monitoring the execution and ensuring seamless integration across various departments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Delivering regulatory-driven Risk Management projects while maintaining compliance with deadlines and requirements;
* Providing expertise in regulatory interpretation and implementation, driving a holistic approach to risk analytics that fosters collaboration across different risk domains;
* Reviewing business requirements from the Financial Risk Management (FRM) department and proposing practical solutions using Excel and Access-based tools;
* Collaborating with FRM and Group Functions such as Business Intelligence and IT to identify data requirements and potential solutions for FRM Electronic User Interface applications;
* Developing and delivering updates in an agile manner to drive incremental improvements to existing processes;
* Enhancing analytical and reporting tools aligned with regulatory and business needs for Credit, Liquidity, and Market Risk;
* Performing business-as-usual and ad-hoc analysis, including developing new approaches where needed;
* Supporting knowledge-sharing within the FRM team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Strong foundation in numerical disciplines or equivalent experience;
* Ideal 6+ years of experience in Financial Risk with exposure to Basel III and EU CRR regulations;
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of tasks and driving them to completion;
* Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable plans;
* Solution-oriented mindset with a proven ability to develop and implement practical solutions to complex problems;
* Excellent numeracy skills, logical thinking, and attention to detail;
* Experience in developing Electronic User Interface tools with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, including strong knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL;
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential;
* Demonstrated experience in managing multiple priorities and delivering results in fast-paced environments;
* Adaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem resolution.
