Health and Safety Advisor
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental procedures and regulations. They will be responsible for maintaining a safe working environment, conducting regular site audits, reviewing policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Review, update and communicate all Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures.
* Conduct regular site audits, inspections and investigations; compile reports and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
* Develop and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
* Record, investigate and follow up on all accidents and near-miss events.
* Deliver site inductions to employees, contractors and visitors.
* Plan, coordinate and monitor SHEQ training requirements.
* Maintain and update all SHEQ administration and documentation in line with ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015.
* Support continuous improvement of SHEQ systems, processes and project compliance.
Requirements:
* NEBOSH OHAS Qualification Certificate (minimum held for 2 years).
* Environmental or Quality-related qualifications beneficial.
* Experience with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 standards.
* Minimum 2 years experience in a similar Health & Safety role within construction or civil engineering.
* Experience with substations or underground transmission line projects advantageous but not essential.
Package:
* Salary €60k-€70k.
